On August 23, 2025, JESUIS Association organized a day of social action at the Famille Chrétienne Orphanage in Essos, with the aim of providing the children with an environment for learning, sharing, and recreation. This initiative was part of our commitment to the well-being of children and strengthening community ties.
The day began with a first aid awareness and training session led by a healthcare professional. Through practical demonstrations and age-appropriate discussions, the children were introduced to essential reflexes to adopt in an emergency, thus acquiring useful knowledge for their everyday safety.
The participants then took part in a creative workshop where they created a collective mural using handprints. This activity encouraged the expression of their creativity while highlighting the values of unity, mutual respect, and hope that underpin the association's work.
The visit concluded with a convivial meal shared with the children and staff of the orphanage. Beyond the activities undertaken, this day provided a special opportunity to create positive memories, strengthen human bonds, and demonstrate the importance of solidarity with the most vulnerable children.
